Our speakers
Faith Smith
Faith Smith has been an educator for over twenty years. From 1999-2014, Faith was a high school English teacher. Since 2014, Faith has been a school and district leader specializing in teacher leadership, instructional technology, and data & assessment.
Faith has an M.Ed. with a focus on educational technology, as well as post-graduate certification work in Educational Administration and Curriculum and Instruction. Faith is a licensed school administrator in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Traci Davis
Traci Davis has a distinguished career as an educator, she has worked in a variety of schools and has helped transform learning environments in elementary-, middle- and high schools. As the former superintendent of the Washoe County School District (WCSD) in Reno, NV, Traci Davis served more than 64,000 students, their families, and more than 8,000 employees. She has the distinguished honor of being the AASA National Dr. Effie Jones Humanitarian Award Winner for her long-standing commitment to her deliberate and intentional equity work. She continues to serve on the National Home Visit Board of directors.
Dr. Jeff Klein
Director of School Experience and the former Assistant Superintendent for Academic Services in the Park Hill School District. Jeff has held positions as a teacher, school psychologist, and director of research, evaluation, and assessment. Dr. Klein is a recipient of the Missouri Governor’s Quality Leadership Award.
Ashley Shannon
Ashley is an education specialist with over 15 years of teaching experience including music, general education, and students with significant support needs. Her passion for holistic education was at the forefront of her teaching practices and she now gets to share her love of all things SEL with Satchel Pulse.
