This presentation outlines the different factors that can affect SEL, where exactly they come from, factors at different levels, and the use of continuous improvement.

These are important to consider because while there are factors that are directly linked to schools and education, there are also factors that lie outside the remit of schools. The outside education factors are not within educators’ control but there are ways to support better understanding in communities to encourage positive SEL for all.
